ISSB

“An entity shall disclose information about: (ii) how the body(s) or individual(s) determines whether appropriate skills and competencies are available or will be developed to oversee strategies designed to respond to climate related risks and opportunities…

An entity’s sustainability-related risks and opportunities arise out of the interactions between the entity and its stakeholders, society, the economy and the natural environment throughout the entity’s value chain….the entity’s future success will likely depend on the entity’s ability to attract and retain that resource. At the same time, that ability will depend, in part, on the entity’s employment practices—such as whether the entity invests in employee training…

TCFD

“Suggestions for addressing the implications of the scenarios will likely fall into clusters around climate mitigation (e.g., emissions reduction), adaptation efforts a company might undertake to manage its risks, or actions to increase its opportunities. Strategy options in the adaptation cluster might be further framed as soft adaptation or hard adaptation.

Soft adaptation are substantive yet physically intangible responses to climate impacts, such as planning and de-risking processes, finance, knowledge generation and information flows, and human resources development.”

EU ESRS

“Disclosure shall include a description of how the administrative, management and supervisory bodies ensure the availability of the appropriate skills and expertise to oversee sustainability matters, including:

(b) how it relates to the undertaking’s material impacts, risks and opportunities.”
