Aizat began his career in 2010, spending slightly more than a decade at PETRONAS, where he worked within both the Host Authority and the operating arm of the organisation. During his tenure, he gained substantial experience in production operations, field development planning, Enhanced Oil Recovery and integrated project management in Malaysian waters and onshore Middle East.
In ERCE, Aizat is heavily involved in various Reserves and Resources Audit and Independent Evaluation projects across many of the main Asia Pacific basins.
Aizat has been deeply involved in Reserves and Resources evaluation across all teams he has been part of. He is proficient in various modelling and simulation software, with extensive experience in constructing tailored subsurface models for purposes such as enhanced oil recovery (EOR), water injection, and infill drilling. He has also delivered a range of Field Development Plans, from complex EOR initiatives to infill projects. His comprehensive knowledge and skill set in integrated project delivery enable Aizat to approach challenges efficiently, ensuring that solutions align with both technical and commercial objectives. Aizat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a certified member of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE).
