Dr Eugenie Regan

Eugenie Regan is VP of Research Solutions at Springer Nature and chair of the board of trustees of Buglife. She holds a Ph.D degree from National University Ireland, an MBA from University of Cambridge, is a Fulbright alumnus, and Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society. Eugenie is a widely respected and published conservation scientist and is the author of more than 40 academic papers including in Science and Nature. Her career has had a particular focus on the application of biodiversity science to policy and decision-making for the private sector, government, and international NGOs. She has developed and managed projects with UN Environment, European Commission, and World Bank, amongst others, in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Projects have included biodiversity offsetting, environmental safeguarding, metrics for the Sustainable Development Goals, and sustainability reporting.
