Supporting a client in their submission to the UK NSTA.
In 2022 the UK held its first open competitive licensing round for CCS. Interested companies had to make submissions that considered the full value chain, from emitters to storage, demonstrating technical and commercial excellence.
Need:
A client with expertise in CCS from outside the UK wanted to make a submission. They were seeking support from specialists who understood the regulator expectations and who could bring local knowledge of the CCS frameworks in place in the UK.
Project:
ERCE were engaged to provide that support. Our team integrated with the client team supporting all levels of the application from geoscience and reservoir engineering modelling, through facilities to economics and market analysis. We worked hand-in-hand to write the submission document.
Outcome:
Submission made.
